Writer of dark fantasy

I love putting together words that feel like a lyric. I love building worlds that feel as though they were there long before I found them. Some melancholy, some whimsy, some dry wit, some gloom.

I write about long-lost books that unlock demon prisons; magick that grows in a glowing, sentient fungus; shadow-tyrants that draw power from birds held in captive towns; a murdered girl's spirit guarding hell's gate; and always the greatest weapons being forged not of steel, but in the hearts of those who struggle on the side of good...

Me personally? I believe in birds, Oxford commas, em dashes—and getting lost in the woods. Never seen a ghost, and I'm a little mad about it, not gonna lie. I have Tourette's. I only mention it to save you from wondering why I'm twitching. (It's not because this is my fourth coffee today. That's just a bonus inconvenience.)

HELL WITH THE LID TAKEN OFF

Adult Dark Academia Fantasy | 94,000 words

Hidden deep beneath the roaring furnaces, belching smokestacks, and molten iron of 1906 Pittsburgh, the lid of hell has long been held shut by an ancient power. When Howard Grosick—the spoiled heir to a steel fortune—is caught between the demons trying to open it and the corrupt order meant to guard it, he discovers that he may be the one meant to seal it forever. But he is falling in love with Josephine Donegal—the hundred-years-dead girl bound as its current sentinel—and keeping hell closed will cost him everything he has left… especially her.
